Here’s a great review of an English translation of the second volume of EXPEDITION, from Win Wiacek’s “Now Read This”.  Published by Methuen in 1978 under the title Atlantis Men and Monsters (original Polish title: Ludzie i Potwory), Wiacek calls it “A rather impressive, entertaining slice of speculative fiction dressed in a workmanlike yet enthralling no-nonsense art style that will delight fans of illustrated storytelling…”

Here in the West, Poland isn’t known for generating graphic novels or albums, although there has always been a thriving comics culture and many Polish creators have found fame in far-off lands.
